During September 2014 I spent some time with 2 families, taking photographs for Contact a Family, a charity that supports families with a disabled child. The resulting work will be shown in London at the end of January at La Galleria, Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 4UY and will run from 27th - 31st January 2015.

Sony World Photography Awards -Still Life Photographer of the Year..
So thrilled to have won the Sony World Photography Award, Professional Still Life Category! Three days in London visiting the beautiful exhibition at Somerset House and going to the awards ceremony on Wednesday night. Great meeting all the WPO folk and the other talented winners.

2014 Sony World Photography Awards
At the end of January I received a call from Ania at the World Photography Organisation, telling me I had been named as a finalist in the Sony World Photography Awards, Professional Still Life Category. It's been a long wait since then, but the awards night is fast approaching, and all will be revealed on 30th April when the winners of the categories will be announced at the awards dinner in London.
YMCA & I, exhibition begins it's national tour at the Lightbox, Woking
Last year I was fortunate enough to work with YMCA England, on a project to produce a series of portraits and interviews of 12 inspirational young people that have been supported by the YMCA. Portrait Salon 2013
Englez, Outside the Hub at the YMCA, Slough
Having been unsuccessful with my submission to the NPG Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, I was delighted to hear that my portrait of Englez, taken for the YMCA & I exhibition, had been selected by Portrait Salon, a form of Salon des Refusés that aims to show the best of the unselected entries from the annual National Portrait Gallery Photographic Portrait Prize. The initial exhibition was a simultaneous projection of the work in London, Leeds, Brighton & Edinburgh, the first ever 'printed' exhibition of Portrait salon was held at Fuse Art Space in Bradford earlier this year
