Child's Play
This series developed from a year long residency with Stockport Art Gallery, and explores the way children play in ‘unstructured’ environments, outdoors, in parks and in the street. Photographed in late 80’s and early 90’s, when is was common to find children playing outdoors and unsupervised, this work stands as testament to a different era and a different experience of childhood to that experienced by many children today.
